Abstract: RATIOS OF HOURS AT WORK TO HOURS PAID ARE NEEDED TO CORRECTLY MEASURE LABOR INPUT FOR PRODUCTIVITY STATISTICS. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE USED IN THE MAJOR SECTOR LABOR AND MULTI-FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES PUBLISHED BY BLS ANNUALLY AND QUARTERLY. THE RESPONDENTS ARE RANDOMLY SELECTED FOR-PROFIT NON-AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS.
