Abstract: ASHAA REQUIRES EPA TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO SCHOOLS FOR ASBESTOS ABATEMENT PROJECTS. APPLICATIONS MUST CONTAIN INFORMATION DESCRIBING THE NAUTRE OF THE ASBESTOS PROBLEM AND INFORMATION DESCRIBING THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE APPROPRIATION REQUIRE THAT EPA SOLICIT APPLICATIONS NO LATER THAN JANUARY 1, 1989, AND THAT AWARDS BE MADE BY MAY 15, 1989.
