Abstract: THIRTY-NINE ELECTRIC UTILITY COMPANIES IN THE EASTERN U.S. WILL BE ASKED TO SUPPLY HOURLY DATA FROM CERTAIN OF THEIR COAL-FIRED PLANTS AN SUBMIT IT TO EPA MONTHLY, OVER A TWO-YEAR PERIOD. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH SIMILAR INFORMATION FROM CANADIAN PLANTS COLLECTED BY CANADIAN AGENCIES TO RELATE ACID DISPOSITION (RAIN) TO AC PRECURSOR EMISSIONS.
