Abstract: THIS REGULATION IMPLEMENTS THE AGE DISCRIMINATION ACT OF 1975 (ACT). THE ACT PROHIBITS DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF AGE IN HUD PROGRAMS A ACTIVITIES RECEIVING FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM HUD. THE REGULATION INCORPORATES THE BASIC STANDARDS FOR DETERMINING WHAT IS AGE DISCRIMINATION THAT WERE SET FORTH IN THE PROPOSED RULE AND SETS FORTH THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF HUD RECIPIENTS AND THE INVESTIGATION,
