Abstract: THE NATIONAL HEALTH INTERVIEW SURVEY, AN ONGOING SURVE OF THE CIVILIAN, NONINSTITUTIONALIZED POPULATION, MONITORS THE NATION' HEALTH. THE 1989 NHIS WILL INCLUDE SUPPLEMENTS ON "DENTAL", DIABETES" DIGESTIVE DISORDERS", "HEALTH INSURANCE". "MENTAL HEALTH", AND "IMMUNIZATION".
