the collections required by 29 CFR 19.912 (a)(2) and (a)(5) for a
description of security measures and a diagram of plant premises
have not been demonstrated to be necessary for the proper
performance of the agency's functions as required by OMB
regulations implementing the Paperwork Reduction Act (1320.4
(b)(1). Clearance has been extended to provide time for the
Department pursuant to 5 CFR 1320.14 (f) and (g) to: 1) publish as
soon as possible a notice in the Federal Register to inform the
public that OMB has initiated proposals for changes in the
collection and that OMB has extended approval of the current
collection through June 1990, and 2) solicit public comment on the
proposed changes in the collections of informati within 120 days
from the date of this clearance action.
