Abstract: SUBCHAPTER S CONSOLIDATES ALL EXISTING STABILITY REGULATION, INTERPRETATIONS AND POLICY DETERMINATIONS FOR STABILITY STANDARDS FOR SPECIAL VESSELS INTO ONE SET OF REGULATIONS. THE INFORMATION REQUIRED IS NEEDED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH U.S. STABILITY STANDARDS AS WELL A SOLAS. NAVAL ARCHITECTS, SHIPBUILDERS AND SHIP OPERATORS MUST COMPLY WITH THESE REGULATIONS.
