Abstract: THE OFFICE OF STANDARD REFERENCE DATA (OSRD) OF NIST IS RESPONSIBLE FO CREATING AND DISSEMINATING STANDARD REFERENCE DATA. TECHNOLOGY HAS CHANGED THE CHARACTER OF THE USE AND USEFULNESS OF THESE DATA. THIS SURVEY PROVIDES INFORMATION TO MAKE DECISIONS CONCERNING PACKAGING, DISTRIBUTION, PROMOTION, PRICING AND OTHER MARKETING CONSIDERATIONS.
