Abstract: THIS CLEARANCE ALLOWS THE COLLECTION OF STANDARD MORBIDITY DATA FROM STATE AND LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS. THE DATA ARE GATHERED AND DISTRIBUTED WEEKLY VIA THE MMWR. THE DATA ARE USED TO EVALUATE PROGRE RELATIVE TO STANDARD CONTROL EFFORTS AS WELL AS ASSISTING STATE/LOCAL HEALTH MANAGERS TO STANDARDIZE COLLECTION PROCEDURES.
