TO EXAMINE THE EFFECT OF DDE/DDT
LEVELS IN BREASTFEEDING PRACTICES ON COMMON FORMS OF CHILDHOOD
MORBIDITY DURING BREASTFEEDING AND, THE RELATIONSHIP OF DDE LEVELS
AND FERTILITY. FINDINGS WILL BE USED TO VALIDATE DATA FROM THE N.C.
STUDY. 300 WOMEN FROM THE LAGUNA REGION GIVING BIRTH AT TWO
HOSPITALS WILL BE SCREENED. 200 WILL BE RECRUITED AND FOLLOWED UP
TO 18 MONTHS OR UNTIL THEY STOP
