We have approved
this information collection for three years, with the following
terms of clearance. The second sentence of paragraph 4.c. in the
Field Memorandum shall be revised to read, "One-time staff costs
for software development, staff training, and wage record
conversion may also be funded if proposals demonstrate one-time
funding is needed beyond staffing levels otherwise covered by base
grants." The second sentence of paragraph 4.j. in the Field
Memorandum shall read, "The only exception is for ADP projects
required to implement newly enacted State legislation." The
Departmen shall make any other necessary conforming changes to the
remainder of the documents. These changes clarify to the providers
of financial and budget data that financing costs of wage record
conversion will be provided from UI base resources, and thereby
remove potential confusion among data providers as to the
appropriate procedures for submission of data.
