This icr
pertains to the additional burden hours associated with the Final
Surface Water Treatment Rule. EPA has satisfactorily addressed
previous comments made by OMB concerning the paperwork
requirements. The expiration date for this addendum to the main
public water system program icr will coincide with that of the
"base" clearance (9/90). At the time of the reinstatement EPA shall
disaggregate the burden such that the burden from major regulatory
requirements is clearly identified. EPA has done a good job in
presenting and estimating the burden.
