Abstract: THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY COLLECTS DATA FROM STEAM ELECTRIC POWER PLANT (10 MEGAWATTS OR MORE IN SIZE) FOR THE USE OF DOE, EPA AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES. EPA USES THE INFORMATION FOR ECONOMIC, REGULATORY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSES UNDER NEW SOURCE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND THE NATIONAL EMISSIONS DATA SYSTEM.
