Abstract: PART 205 INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS WERE ADOPTED IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC'S RIGHT TO RECOVER LOSSES INCURRED IN ACCIDENTS IN WHICH AIR CARRIERS ARE INVOLVED. FORM 4520 (FORMERLY CAB 205-A) IS USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH THOSE REQUIREMENTS.
