Abstract: THE LABORATORY FOR TERRESTIAL PHYSICS HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO DESIGN AND MANAGE EARTH ORBITING SATELLITES WHICH MEASURE THE EARTH'S MAGNETI FIELD. IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE MAXIMUM UTILITY FROM THE DATA DERIVED FROM SUCH A MISSION, WE WANT TO CONDUCT A SURVEY OF THE GEOPHYSICAL EXPLORATION COMMUNITY TO DETERMINE THEIR AWARENESS OF INTEREST IN, AND USE OF SATELLITE MAGNETIC DATA.
