Abstract: USDA AND CERTAI OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES NEED DETAILED DOMESTIC RICE DISTRIBUTION DAT TO HELP EVALUATE THE ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF CHANGING RICE DISTRIBUTION PATTERNS ON THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR AND GNP. THESE DATA ALSO HELP GUI EFFORTS TO EXPAND DOMESTIC RICE USE, WHICH INDIRECTLY REDUCE GOVERNMEN OWNED RICE STOCKS.
