Abstract: THIS VOLUNTARY DATA COLLECTION PROVIDES NIMH, THE STATES, AND THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD WITH STATISTICS ON THE SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC, CLINICAL, AND SERVICE CHARACTERISTICS OF CLIENTS IN OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS OF SPECIALTY MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS. A SCIENTIFIC SAMPLE WILL BE SELECTED OF THE CLIENT ADMISSIONS AND CLIENTS UNDER CARE IN THESE PROGRAMS.
