Abstract: THE FERC REQUIRES BACKGROUND INFORMATION IN ORDER TO REVIEW REQUESTS FROM NATURAL GAS COMPANIES, OIL PIPELINES AND PUBLIC UTILITIES FOR WAIVER FROM THE FEES AND ANNUAL CHARGES IMPOSED BY THE FERC UNDER AUTHORITY PROVIDED IN THE INDEPENDENT OFFICES APPROPRIATION ACT OF 1952 AND THE OMNIBUS BUDGET RECONCILIATION ACT OF 1986.
