Abstract: AS A FURTHER EFFORT TO CONTROL AND REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF VIOLATIVE LEVELS OF CHEMICALS IN PRODUCTS, FSIS HAS DEVELOPED THE VERIFIED RESID CONTROL PROGRAM (VRC). THE VRC PROGRAM IS A VOLUNTARY COOPERATIVE EFFORT AMONG FSIS, OFFICIAL ESTABLISHMENTS AND PRODUCERS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE FSIS'S AND THE PARTICIPANT'S ABILITY TO CONTROL AND REDUCE VIOLATIVE LEVELS OF CHEMICAL RESIDUES IN MEAT AND POULTRY PRODUCTS.
