Abstract: UNDER THE PROPOSED REGULATION, STATE AND LOCAL RESPONDENTS WILL COLLECT AND REPORT INFORMATION ON A MONTHLY, QUARTERLY AND ANNUAL BASIS. THE EPA, THROUGH THE FEDERAL REPORTING DATA SYSTEM, USES THE INFORMATION TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULE AND TO PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH.
