Abstract: PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO REDUCE BENZENE EMISSIONS BY 95 PERCENT. RUBBER TIRE MANUFACTURERS USING MORE THAN 1,500 KG/YR BENZENE AS A SOLVENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO EITHER DEMONSTRATE A BENZENE EMISSIONS REDUCTION OF 75 PERCENT OR DEMONSTRATE THAT EMISSIONS ARE LESS THAN 1,500 KG/YR., AND SUBMIT QUARTERLY COMPLIANCE REPORTS.
