Abstract: THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY'S INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION, AT THE REQUEST OF EPA, HAS AGREED TO ADD A SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE TO ITS COMMERCIAL BUILDING ENERGY CONSUMPTION SURVEY. BUILDING OWNERS WILL PROVIDE EPA WITH SUMMER 1989 DATA ON THE PRESENCE AND ABATEMENT OF ASBESTOS IN THEIS BUILDINGS. EPA USES THIS IN ITS ASBESTOS IN BUILDINGS PROGRAM.
