MARITIME DISASTER, THE OWNER, CHARTERER, MANAGING OPERATOR, OR
AGENT OF A VESSEL REGULATED BY TITLE 46 CFR IS REQUIRED TO NOTIFY
THE COAST GUARD WHEN THERE IS LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH THAT
VESSEL OR IF THAT VESSEL IS THOUGHT TO BE IN DISTRESS.
