Abstract: THE CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY ACT, FEDERAL HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES ACT AND FLAMMABLE FABRICS ACT REQUIRE THAT PRIOR TO EXPORTING NONCOMPLYING PRODUCTS, THE EXPORTER MUST NOTIFY THE COMMISSION OF HIS INTENTION AND THE COMMISSION MUST IN TURN NOTIFY THE COUNTRY OF DESTINATION.
