Abstract: RULE WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE RENT (OTHER THAN INCOME-BASED RENT) CHARGED TENANTS IN PUBLIC HOUSING. A LIMIT IS PLACED ON THE AMOUNT OF RENT THESE TENANTS SHOULD PAY. THE TENANTS WILL BENEFIT FROM THE CEILING RENT NO MORE THAN THREE YEARS.
