Abstract: THE CONGRESS HAS DIRECTED THE NEH TO INCREASE OVERSIGHT OF GRANTS MADE BY NEH GRANTEES WITH NEH FUNDS. THESE SECONDARY AWARDS, SUBGRANTS, ARE NOW SUBJECT TO NEH APPROVAL. APPROXIMATELY 22 NEH GRANTEES AWARD SUBGRANTS AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE OVERSIGHT PROCEDURES.
