Abstract: THIS PROPOSED STANDARD REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO TRAIN EMPLOYEES ABOUT THE HAZARDS OF CADMIUM, MONITOR EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE, AND PROVIDE MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE. THESE RECORDS WILL BE USED BY EMPLOYERS, EMPLOYEES, PHYSICIANS AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES ARE NOT HARMED EXPOSURE TO CADMIUM.
