Abstract: THE OFFICE OF PRIVATE SECTOR PROGRAMS DEVELOPS COOPERATIVE PROJECTS WITH PRIVATE SECTOR INSTITUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF USIA. THESE PROJECTS WHICH EMPHASIZE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXCHANGES ARE INTENDED TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE U.S. ABROAD.
