Abstract: THE REGULATION REQUIRES PRIOR NOTICE BY CERTAIN INSTITUTIONS FOR THEIR AFFILIATE TRANSACTIONS AND A ONE-TIME NOTIFICATION BY ALL INSTITUTIONS WHEN THE REGULATION BECOMES FINAL, ON THE AFFILIATE STATUS OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES. THE REGULATION ALSO REQUIRES SAVINGS ASSOCIATIONS TO KEE RECORDS ON THEIR TRANSACTIONS WITH AFFILIATES.
