Abstract: IPEDS DATA PROVIDE INFORMATION ON POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION, ITS' PROVIDERS, ENROLLMENTS, COMPLETIONS (BY PROGRAM AND RACE/ETHNICITY OF RECIPIENTS), FINANCE, STAFF AND SALARIES. DATA ARE USED TO CREATE SAMPLING FRAMES, CONDUCT INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH AND CARRY OUT MANDATES FOR THE BUREAU OF CENSUS, OFFICE OF CIVIL RIGHTS, AND THE CENTER.
