Abstract: NASS IS A NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE SAMPLE OF MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS. IN 1988 NASS WILL COLLECT CRASHWORTHINESS DATA ON VEHICLE ACCIDENTS TO SUPPORT NHTSA'S MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD EVALUATIONS. INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL INCLUDE VEHICLE DAMAGE, OCCUPANT INJURY, AND VEHICLE DYNAMICS.
