We have approved
introduction of ETA form 9025 & 9026 for two years--less than
the maximum allowed under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) to
promote early assessment of these forms' effectiveness. Approval is
contingent, however, upon simultaneous withdrawal of ETA forms 8413
& 8414 to prevent overlap in data collection. While
introduction of forms 9025 & 9026 will entail a reporting
increases of 424 hours, net burden will decrease 636 hours as forms
8413 & 8414 are withdrawn. OIG has expressed no objection to
this substitution. Upon resubmission for review in two years, the
agency is to demonstrate that these forms have improved ETA's
ability to monitor States' UI cash accounts.
