Abstract: FS 2300-32 (VISITOR REGISTRATION CARD) IS NEEDED TO MONITOR THE USE IN A WILDERNESS AND TO AID IN SEARCH AND RESCUE. IF THIS INFORMATION COULD NOT BE COLLEDTED, WE COULD BE HAMPERED IN A RESCUE EFFORT AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE ADEQUATE INFORMATION TO PREPARE MANAGEMENT PLANS. FS 2300-30 (VISITOR PERMIT) IS MANDATORY IN SOME WILDERNESSES TO BE ABLE TO MANAGE OVER USAGE IN SPECIFIED LOCATIONS.
