Abstract: REGULATION IS BEING AMENDED TO INCLUDE DEBT SETTLEMENT OF ALL HOUSING LOANS AND TO LIMIT ADJUSTMENT OFFERS TO 5 YEARS EXCEPT FOR RURAL HOUSI LOANS. THIS ACTION IS INTENDED TO REDUCE THE VOLUME OF SETTLEMENTS SUBMITTED TO FMHA AND TO FURTHER IMPLEMENT THE INTENT OF THE FOOD SECURITY ACT OF 1985 AND THE AGRICULTURAL CREDIT ACT OF 1987.
