Terms of Clearance: OMB approves this information collection for two years, in light the upcoming reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, as amended b the Department's submissions of 9/17/90 and 10/2/90 (attached). In addition, ED should correct the citation in the cover letter concernin 34 CFR 206.31(i), which refers to the prior experience portion of the application. The reference should be to (i) as a whole, since (i)-(v) are subcategories under 206.31(i)(2). Alternatively, ED could referen the full citation, 206.31(i)(2)(i-v).

Abstract: THE APPLICATION FOR GRANTS UNDER THE COLLEGE ASSISTANCE MIGRANT PROGRA (CAMP) WILL ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO MEET THE COST OF ATTENDING PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SERVE THE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN OF MIGRANT WORKERS.
