Terms of Clearance: In light of Ed's intention to "develop 'standard evaluation procedures' in the coming year" for the Eisenhower program, OMB approv this information collection for one year under the following condition o In the cover letter that ED sends with this form, ED must state th the next year represents a trial period for the Eisenhower Performance Report, which ED continues to develop with SEAs an LEAs. ED must seek explicitly comments from state, local, and institutional participants two areas: 1) Data elements that would provide results-oriented data, rather than the current emphasis on input data, which could be included in a revised Performance Report. 2) Methods to ensure that state, local, and institutional participan avoid double- or triple-counting teachers involved in this program. o ED must include the correct burden estimate on the face page of th form: 30 hours, not the 8 hours as currently appears. o ED must submit to OMB the two revised pages from the instrument that were promised to OMB but not included in the 10/2 submission from the Department (p. 17, Elem. & Sec., p. 13, State Agency for Higher Ed OMB looks for the Department to place greater emphasis on results oriented data elements in next year's submission of this report. OMB notes that the terms of clearance for the previous approval of this document stressed that the next submission should be results-oriented.
