Abstract: DATA IS USED TO ASCERTAIN THE TOTAL SUPPLY OF UNMANUFACTURED TOBACCO AVAILABLE TO DOMESTIC MANUFACTURERS AND TO PUBLISH REPORTS ON NATIONAL TOTALS FOR THE MANUFACTURER AND SALE OF SNUFF, SMOKING AND CHEWING TOBACCO. DATA ADJUSTMENT ACT OF 1938 AND SUBSEQUENT PRICE SUPPORT LEGISLATION. IS REQUIRED TO CALCULATE PRODUCTION QUOTAS AND MONITOR THE SIZE, GROWT OR DECLINE OF THE MARKET. AFFECTED PUBLIC: TOBACCO INDUSTRY.
