Abstract: THIS PROGRAM IS CONCERNED WITH A STUDY OF CAPITAL PUNISHMENT STATUES AND PERSONS UNDER SENTENCE OF DEATH IN STATE AND FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS. DATA FROM THIS PROGRAM WILL BE USED BY BJS, CONGRESS, JOURNALISTS, RESEARCHERS, AND VARIOUS STATE RESPONDENTS AS A SOURCE OF COMPARATIVE AND TREND DATA.
