Abstract: THE LABELLING REQUIREMENT FOR CORDLESS TELEPHONES INFORM CONSUMERS OF THE FEATURES THAT PROTECT AGAINST TELEPHONE CALLS BEING MADE BY PERSONS OTHER THAN THE OWNER. THIS HELPS CONSUMERS IN SELECTING CORDLESS TELEPHONES WITH FEATURES DESIGNED TO PROTECT AGAINS MISBILLING AS APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR NEEDS.
