amended by the material submitted by Vernon Parker of OPM to Joe
Lackey of OMB on 11/26/90 is approved with the following
conditions: 1. OMB waives the requirement that an expiration date
be printed on this form. 2. The SF86A (continuation sheet) is
approved for use with this form. 3. The existing SF86 continues to
be approved for use through the end of February 1991 and use of the
new form will begin on March 1, 1991. Beginning on 3/1/91 the new
SF86 must be used. Agencies may continue to require use of the
"old" SF86 through the end of 2/91. 4. This new SF86 is to be used
only for those individuals to occupy national security positions
who would have used the old SF86. All others who would have used
the existing SF86 are to use the new SF85P.
