Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THE NEH TEACHER-SCHOLAR PROGRAM IS TO IMPROVE THE TEACHING OF THE HUMANITIES IN THE NATION'S SCHOOLS BY GIVING TEACHERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND A YEAR LEARNING THEIR SUBJECTS BETTER, THE ATTACHED FORMS WILL BE USED BY TEACHERS APPLYING FOR THE PROGRAM.
