Abstract: THIS STUDY WILL COLLECT, ANALYZE, AND REPORT DATA ABOUT FIRST-TIME ENTERING, FIRST-YEAR POSTSECONDARY STUDENTS IN ACADEMIC YEAR 1988-89 (FIELD TEST) AND 1989-90 (FULL-SCALE SURVEY), USING AS A BASE THE NPSAS:90 SAMPLES. INFORMATION ABOUT 1,981 FIELD-TEST STUDENTS WILL BE COLLECTED FROM 67 POSTSECONDARY INSTITUTIONS AND, THROUGH CATI, FROM AN ESTIMATED 93 PERCENT OF THE STUDENTS.
