REPORT TO STATES OR EPA ON COMPLIANCE/NON-COMPLIANCE WITH
REGULATIONS. STATES MUST REPORT TO EPA VIOLATIONS, VARIANCES OR
EXEMPTIONS GRANTED, AND CHANGES TO SYSTEM INVENTORIES. THE STATES
AND EPA USE THE INFORMATION TO PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH THROUGH
COMPLIANCE WITH THE SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT.
