Pursuant to the
Paperwork Reduction Act and OMB regulations at 5 CFR 1320, this
collection of information is approved through June 1991. At that
time the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is expected
to finalize its own rules regarding demolition and renovation of
buildings containing asbestos. EPA should work with OSHA to ensure
a coordinated implementation of each agencies rules and a
minimization of paperwork burden. Finally, before EPA resubmits
this collection for PRA review, care must be taken to reduce the
information burden to the regulated community wherever
possible.
