Terms of Clearance: OMB approves this information collection for Palau only. The paperwork to be completed by representatives from Micronesia is not valid, since Micronesia and the Marshall Islands have opted to change their status and enter into a Compact of Free Association with the United States and receive a lump sum payment from the Federal governme instead of specific program authorizations. Should Micronesia wish to participate in the activities surrounding the White House Conference o Libraries and Information Science, it must use its own funds to do so.
