Abstract: THE REGULATIONS REQUIRE FOREIGN PARTNERS TO MAINTAIN RECORDS OF GAIN O LOSS FROM THE DISPOSITION OF A PARTNERSHIP INTEREST THAT IS ATTRIBUTABLE TO U.S. REAL PROPERTY INTERESTS OF THE PARTNERSHIP, WHEN THE PARTNERSHIP MAKES CERTAIN DISPOSITIONS. THE SERVICE NEEDS THIS INFORMATION TO ENSURE THAT FUTURE TAXABLE INCOME IS REPORTED.
