Abstract: THIS RULE REQUIRES: 1) HANDLERS OF PCB WASTES TO OBTAIN ID NUMBERS, 2) DISCREPANCIES IN MANIFESTED WASTE TO BE REPORTED TO EPA, 3) STORERS OF PCB WASTES TO SUBMIT CLOSURE PLANS AND FINANCIAL ASSURANCE FOR EPA APPROVAL OF THEIR FACILITIES. THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL ENABLE EPA TO MONITOR THE MOVEMENT AND ULTIMATE DISPOSAL OF PCB'S FOR COMPLIANCE PUPOSES.
