Abstract: PUBLIC LAW 101-382 PROVIDES FOR CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS TO THE PROHIBITIONS AGAINST SUBSTITUTING FEDERAL TIMBER FOR EXPORTED PRIVATE TIMBER THROUG SUBMISSION OF SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS AND APPLICATIONS. THE RESPONDEN WILL BE TIMBER COMPANIES WHO DESIRE THESE EXEPTIONS.
