Terms of Clearance: OMB approves this information collection request, under the following conditions to which ED has agreed: o ED will continue to expand the networking component of this progra in which information in Performance Reports is disseminated to other fellows and other groups that would benefit. Such uses add utility to the collection, which ED's Supporting Statement asserts is used solely for compliance and monitoring. o At the earliest possible date, ED should go through technical rulemaking to enter the approved OMB control number for this collectio (1810-0537) after regulatory provision 237.32, for which ED requests clearance as part of the package. o In Section B of "Part II. Narrative," ED should delete the first sentence. The second sentence should read: "In this section, state whether or not the strategies established in the proposed plan to evaluate the project activity were actually used" (the second sentence becomes the new first sentence). Items 2, 3, and 4 should be relabele as Items 1, 2, and 3, respectively. These changes will remove the first instruction, which asks applicants to repeat their planned strategies, which they have already produced in their applications. o On the last line of the cover sheet, ED should delete the first "a so that the new clause reads: ", and concise as possible."
