This information
collection is approved in concept by OMB. OPM will submit
additional material and a revised information collection instrument
in the near future for OMB's approval. Among the things covered in
the next submission from OPM will be: 1. Discussion of this study
of a pilot for other similar studies. 2. Clarification of the
sample size and selection methodology. 3. Specific types of
computer personnel to be surveyed. 4. Plans to deal with low
response. 5. Revisions to questions and instuctions. Resubmission
of this request for OMB approval along with additional materials
has been discussed with Patricia Harris and Ron Trueworthy of OPM
and Joe Lackey of OMB. As the new request to OMB should be
submitted within a short period of time, the original public
notification of OMB's review of this request is deemed to be
sufficient.
